One sponsor enjoyed the experience of being part of a Brentford matchday so much, they have committed to enjoying the experience well in to the next decade. Ajar Technology were a sponsor of Brentford’s FA Cup win over Oxford United earlier this year. As part of the package they were given a tour of the ground, were on the pitch before kick-off and got their hands on the match ball. And they had such a great day they have bought premiums seats at our new home.
We were delighted to welcome a party from Ajar to the match in January. As well as seeing Neal Maupay score the winner they had a meal in the Legend’s Lounge and were shown behind the scenes as part of the ground tour. They were featured in the pre-match photograph with the captains and managers and handed the match ball to referee Jeremy Simpson.
Michael James Keane, Ajar Technology Financial Director, wrote to the Club after the game to say thank you for the experience. The firm have their Operations Office in Brentford and have also bought premium seats at our new home. So, they will be part of the Brentford Community Stadium experience as well as the Griffin Park one.
Michael wrote: “We are writing to say thank you for making our day so special. We had a wonderful day. This was our first time being a sponsor and you made it worthwhile. From the moment we arrived until the moment we, unfortunately, had to leave, you kept everyone entertained, there was never a dull moment.
“We wanted to show our appreciation because the day was phenomenal. We are thankful for all you did and I’m sure the other attendees feel the same. The chance to walk out on the pitch and have a photo with the captains was incredible and Gautam was over the moon to hand the Matchball over. I hope others get to experience this as we did.”
James Parkinson, Brentford FC Commercial Director, said: “When we receive comments like this it makes the hard work worthwhile. We do all we can to make our Legends Lounge guests feel as welcome as possible and we are delighted Ajar Technology had such a great day. That they are now part of our future at our new home is a further boost to us and we will be replicating the warm welcome we provide at Griffin Park to our guests there.”
